Your sewing machine, embroidery machine, and serger should be serviced at least once a year.

General Service includes a thorough overall cleaning of the machine, checking 32 points of functionality, and calibration. Repairs will be charged at an hourly rate and parts are charged as necessary.

If you purchased your machine from us, you get Free Service good for one year from date of purchase of your machine.

*If your machine has embroidery capability you should have both machines serviced at the same time.
What Do You Need to Bring for a Machine Service?
In order for your sewing machine, embroidery machine, or serger to be adjusted properly, the following items must be included with the machine. We don't like to take anything else because it's just something else to get misplaced - you may wish to bring the cover or case also to protect the machine.

BERNINA Sewing Machines -

  • Foot Control and Power Cord
  • Foot #0 or #1 (for 450, 640, 730, 180, 200, 1630 - bring Foot #1C and #40C)
  • Buttonhole Foot (#3 or #3A - the big black one if you have)
  • Bobbincase and Bobbin

BERNINA Embroidery & Combination Machines -

  • *Embroidery Module should also include Sewing Machine & Accessories listed above
  • Foot Control and Power Cord
  • Embroidery Foot
  • Bobbincase and Bobbin - Be sure & bring your embroidery (pigtail) bobbincase in addition to the one you use on your sewing machine.
  • Large Hoop and Template

  • Cover Stitch Machines should also include:
    • Adapter, Throat Plate, and Presser Foot

Courier Service from Hilton Head

Sometimes you don't want to drive all the way from Hilton Head to drop off your machine. STAT Courier Service has daily service island-wide to and from Savannah. Call 843-785-6520 for info. We have no connection with them and are simply supplying you the information.
