Quilt Guilds, Shows & Retreats
A guild is a wonderful way to make contact with quilters in your area. You'll meet, eat, and learn new things for these local folks:
Savannah Quilt Guild
Meets at 10:00AM the second Saturday of the month (except July and August) in the community room at The Woods of Savannah apartment complex, 7364 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Bldg. C. The guild strives to promote the art of quilting through lectures and Saturday workshops. Members participate in yearly charity projects and an annual weekend retreat. Membership is open to anyone who is interested in quilts. Guests are always welcome. (This guild was established in 1983 as Calico Stitchers Quilt Assn. and renamed in October 2010.)
Palmetto Quilt Guild - Hilton Head
Meets (12:30 pm) the 3rd Thursdays of the month (2nd Thursday on April for a special program, no meeting in August & December) at the Hilton Head Island Beach & Tennis Center, 40 Folly Field Road. Visitors pay $5.00; membership dues are $25.00. Contact Cynthia at cjoyner@islc.net.

Staying in Stitches Guild - Statesboro
Meets every 3rd Tuesday of the month at the Honey Brown builing at the Recreation Department on Fair Road (across from Wendy's). Contact info upcoming.
Wayne County Quilt Guild - Jesup
Meets every 2nd Tuesday of each Month (except December). Community Room at Wayne County Library, Sunset Blvd. Jesup, GA 10 AM AND 7 PM. Visitors are welcome to come once and then must join to continue attending. Activities include: guest workshops, annual raffle quilt, charity quilt donations, sit & sews, annual retreat and lots of other activities year round. Workshop Demonstrations will accompany the show and are scheduled for select Wednesdays beginning September 28 from 11 am - 1 pm. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

9 West Henry Street (between Bull and Whitaker Streets)
Free and open to the public. ., with occasional night and weekend hours based on programming. There is free off-street parking in the lot adjacent to the building.
